Liverpool meet Las Palmas and ask for an additional warm-up game for the national team

Liverpool have agreed to hold talks with La Liga side Las PalmasLas Palmas over an additional friendly to help regain the fitness of a number of their internationals who have been playing for their home country in the summer tournament.

The ‘Sports Mail’ reports that the ‘Reds’ are now on a pre-season tour to the United States, with a three-match schedule, starting with a 1-0 win over Real Betis, ทางเข้า ufabet then continuing with Arsenal (July 31) and Manchester United (August 3).

However, several key players have yet to show up, including captain Virgil van Dijk, vice-captain Trent Alexander-Arnold, goalkeeper Alisson Becker, midfielder Alexis McAllister and striker Cody Gakpo. 

At the earliest, the final group will be able to show up for training ahead of the game against the ‘Red Devils’ but may not take part. That means they will have to wait until Anfield’s match against Sevilla (August 11) to shake off the rust, which head coach Arne Slot sees as too little for the new way of playing.

There have been negotiations to arrange for Las Palmas to come and help practice with the boots. During the process, no conclusions have been reached, but it is believ. That it will be a closed-door warm-up match at the training center, similar to the 0-1 loss to Preston. 

The match date has not yet been determine. With Las Palmas holding off on August 3rd at their training center against Union Sur Yaiza, a local team from Canary Island. 

In the past, Liverpool had two consecutive warm-up matches in 2022, against Athletic Bilbao and then Osasuna. 

It is possible that on Saturday, August 10 , there will be a chance to see an additional closed-door warm-up game at the AXA Training Center .
